Government School Holidays 2025 South Africa. The department of basic education has confirmed that all schools in south africa will begin their 2025 school year on 15 january.this is a continuation of the uniform start date. See all the school terms with start & end dates and how many public holidays each terms has to plan accordingly

These dates may be modified as official changes are announced, so please check back regularly for updates. According to the isasa school calendar guidelines, all independent schools will start on 15 january 2025 and conclude on 3 december.
